China Taps Deutsche Bank as First Foreign Yuan Clearer in Europe

Deutsche Bank AG was authorized by China to settle yuan transactions in Europe, marking the first time a non-Chinese lender has received this designation. The authorization expands China's yuan clearing network beyond its existing domestic infrastructure. Deutsche Bank will operate as an offshore yuan clearing bank for European transactions.
