Democrats take sixth shot at ousting popular GOP governor who voted for Harris

Vermont Democrats selected their nominee to challenge Republican Gov. Phil Scott, who is running for a sixth term. Scott has served longer than any previous Vermont governor. The Democratic nominee will face Scott in the 2026 general election.
