Republican survives primary on Tim Walz's old congressional turf as Dems eye seat flip

Brad Finstad won the Minnesota 1st Congressional District Republican primary on Tuesday, defeating challengers Gregory Goetzman and Oliver Morlan. The district was previously represented by Tim Walz, who left Congress to serve as Minnesota governor. Democrats have indicated interest in contesting the seat in the general election.
