Iran Shuffles Military Leaders, Prepares for ‘Prolonged Confrontation’

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei appointed six new military commanders on Monday, including Mohsen Rezaei as the new Supreme National Security Council secretary, replacing Mohammad Baqer Zolqard. Rezaei previously served as commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The appointments were announced by Iran's state media.
