EToro Announces Deal to Buy TradeZero in Boost to US Presence

eToro acquired TradeZero, a US brokerage firm. eToro's co-founder and CEO Yoni Assia stated the acquisition was made to expand the company's presence in the United States rather than develop US operations independently. Assia said eToro sees an untapped market for its products in the United States, where similar offerings have performed well in Europe. Bloomberg reported the deal.
