AI computing power is becoming a tradable asset class as CME launches futures contracts

The CME Group announced plans to launch two compute futures contracts on October 5 in partnership with Silicon Data, pending regulatory approval. The contracts will allow traders to buy and sell standardized agreements on artificial intelligence computing power.
