Another OpenAI executive takes off

Brad Lightcap, OpenAI's special projects lead and former chief operating officer, announced his departure after eight years at the company. Lightcap posted an internal memo to X stating he would be starting "something new" but did not specify what his next role would be. OpenAI did not immediately announce a replacement for his position.
