Multiple countries are increasing investment in satellite technology for military intelligence following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to space technology company executives. Satellites are being used to monitor troop movements, supply lines, and military infrastructure. The United States, European nations, and allied countries have expanded procurement of commercial and government-operated imaging satellites since February 2022.
