NYSE Parent ICE Kicks Off Bond Sale for MarketAxess Takeover

Intercontinental Exchange Inc. launched a bond sale for investment-grade debt on February 13, 2026, two weeks after announcing its agreement to acquire MarketAxess Holdings Inc. for $6 billion. The bond proceeds will be used to fund the acquisition. MarketAxess operates an electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approval.
