Spotify will label ‘AI Persona’ profiles and exclude their music from recommendations

Spotify announced it will label artist profiles representing AI-generated identities as "AI Persona" and exclude music from such profiles from its editorial, algorithmic, and personalized recommendations by default. The company did not specify an implementation date for the change. Artists can appeal the AI Persona designation if they believe it was applied incorrectly.
