Spotify says it won’t recommend music from ‘AI Personas’

Spotify announced it will label artificial intelligence-generated artists with an "AI Persona" badge on artist profiles and exclude their music from recommendation algorithms. The change begins rolling out in mid-September. Artists whose profiles do not represent real people will receive the badge. Spotify will allow artists to voluntarily disclose AI generation status.
