Tuesday, August 11, 2026
Debbie Adlam, mother of police constable Andrew Harper who was killed in 2019, said she discussed her campaign with officials at 10 Downing Street. Adlam stated she does not seek special treatment for her son's case, but rather wants legislation that would exempt those convicted of killing emergency workers from early release provisions. Harper was dragged to his death by a car during a burglary in Berkshire.
