Construction Giant L&T Said to Plan India Rare-Earth Magnet Bid

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. is planning to manufacture rare-earth magnets in India. The company did not issue a public announcement of the plans. India's government has initiated policies aimed at reducing dependence on imported rare-earth magnets and decreasing reliance on Chinese suppliers of the component.
