Former Arizona Cardinals GM accused of multiple schemes, including one that cost DeAndre Hopkins $13 million
Monday, August 10, 2026
DeAndre Hopkins filed a legal claim accusing former Arizona Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim of involvement in a positive drug test that resulted in a 2021 suspension costing Hopkins $13 million in forfeited salary. Hopkins alleged the test was contaminated, according to court documents filed in 2026. Keim did not immediately respond to the accusation. The positive test for a banned substance led to Hopkins serving a suspension during the 2021 NFL season.
