Valve slowly expands SteamOS support on non-Valve hardware

Valve released an update to SteamOS that expands compatibility with non-Valve handheld devices, including improvements for the Intel-based MSI Claw 8 EX AI+. The update addresses performance and stability on third-party hardware running the operating system. SteamOS, originally developed for Valve's Steam Deck, has been increasingly made available to manufacturers building competing handheld gaming devices.
