Iran Insists Strait of Hormuz Will Stay Closed Until Trump Agrees to Demands

Monday, August 10, 2026

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that negotiations with Oman regarding shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz are separate from discussions for a full reopening of the waterway.
