Record-Low Danube Strains Vital Route for Black Sea Grain

Danube River water levels have reached record lows, reducing cargo capacity on a shipping route used to transport grain from Romania to the Black Sea. Ukrainian grain exports from ports including Odesa have declined due to increased Russian military strikes on port infrastructure.
