How much parents could save from September's new school uniform rules

The Department for Education announced new guidance effective September 2026 stating that secondary school uniforms may include no more than three branded items, plus a tie. Primary school uniforms may include no more than two branded items. Schools must allow students to wear unbranded alternatives for other uniform pieces, such as plain trousers, skirts, or jumpers.
