Israel's new $634M German-built 'doomsday' sub gives major boost to Iran deterrence

The Israeli Navy received the INS Drakon, a submarine built by Germany, according to Israel's Defense Ministry. The vessel cost 634 million dollars. The Drakon is the largest submarine manufactured in Germany since World War II. Israel has four submarines of this class in its fleet.
