Netanyahu rejects Trump's Gaza Peace Plan, demands Hamas disarm first

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hamas must disarm before any permanent ceasefire agreement in Gaza, according to statements made on January 15, 2026. This came approximately one week after President Trump announced that his Board of Peace had reached an agreement with Hamas regarding weapons.
