Terri DeBoer, who won a House Republican primary in Michigan, stated that Rep. Hillary Scholten's voting record does not align with how she presents herself publicly. DeBoer cited Scholten's votes on girls sports legislation and the SAVE America Act as examples. Scholten, a Democrat, has held the seat since 2023. DeBoer is seeking to flip the district back to Republican control in the general election.
