Europe Looks Up for First Total Eclipse Since 1999

A total solar eclipse will cross Greenland, Iceland, Portugal and northern Spain on Wednesday August 12th. This marks the first total eclipse visible from central or western Europe since 1999. Imo Bell, an astronomer at Royal Observatory Greenwich, stated that the event will allow spectators to view totality and provide scientists an opportunity to study the sun's corona.
