Family 'devastated' as hit-and-run driver who killed boy, 13, to have early prison release

A driver convicted in the death of a 13-year-old boy in a hit-and-run incident will be released early under the UK government's early release scheme. Harley Whiteman's sentence was reduced as part of the program. The scheme allows eligible prisoners to be released before their full sentences are completed.
