Trump wants delay but E. Jean Carroll wants to gets paid — now: Court filing

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to review President Donald Trump's appeal of a jury verdict in a civil case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. A jury in January 2024 found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation, awarding Carroll 83.3 million dollars in damages. Trump had requested the Supreme Court take up the case. Carroll's legal team has proceeded with enforcing the judgment.
