Buc-ee’s dodges John Oliver to sue another small business

Buc-ee's has sued multiple small gas stations and convenience stores over trademark and branding disputes. On a recent episode of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver offered to sell merchandise featuring a squirrel mascot called Mr. Nutterbutter with Buc-ee's-style branding, apparently inviting legal action from the company. Buc-ee's instead filed suit against another small business rather than pursuing the offered target.
