Red-state capital city sparks conservative fire over Somali flag-raising at city hall: ‘Excuse me?’

Columbus, Ohio, raised the Somali flag at city hall on June 26 to mark Somali Independence Day. The flag-raising occurred during the city's America 250 bicentennial celebrations. City officials have not issued a statement explaining the decision.
