This Spider-Man Is 'Deeper,' Say Sony's Rothman

Tom Rothman, chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, said the upcoming Spider-Man film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" contains greater emotional depth than previous Spider-Man movies and could rank among the studio's most profitable films. Rothman made the statements during an appearance on Bloomberg The Close, where he also discussed ticket pricing and film production in California.
