Duke Law's alleged race-based admissions accused of defying Supreme Court ruling: DOJ

The U.S. Department of Justice alleged that Duke Law School gave Black applicants approximately 3.5 times higher admission chances than Asian applicants with comparable credentials. The allegation follows the 2023 Supreme Court decision that struck down race-based admissions preferences at universities. Duke Law School has not yet responded to the DOJ's specific claims.
