Hamberger Medical developed the HARO EKG-seat, a toilet seat that records a six-lead electrocardiogram in 30 seconds during normal use. The device is designed to detect atrial fibrillation and irregular heartbeat. The company has not announced regulatory approval status or commercial availability dates.
