Murkowski will oppose Blanche nomination, narrowing his path to confirmation

Alaska Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski said she will oppose the nomination of Todd Blanche for Attorney General. Murkowski stated that the country needs an Attorney General who will "check the worst impulses of this administration" and that she does not have confidence Blanche can fulfill that role. The opposition from Murkowski reduces the margin available for Blanche's confirmation in the Republican-controlled Senate.
