How police let a registered sex offender murder and attack women

A senior Metropolitan Police officer acknowledged that registered sex offender Simon Levy's second murder victim, Sheryl Wilkins, could have been prevented from being killed. Levy was convicted of murdering Wilkins and attacking other women. The Met officer's acknowledgment came during proceedings related to the case.
