Even Honda is pivoting to data centers

Honda started manufacturing batteries for data centers this week, marking its entry into the energy storage market. The company had previously focused battery production on electric vehicles for consumer use. Data center operators use large-scale battery systems for backup power and load management. Honda did not announce financial targets or a timeline for scaling production.
