A look at West Virginia after last year's massive ICE operation

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested approximately 600 immigrants over a two-week period during Operation Country Roads earlier this year. According to the original reporting, most of those arrested had no criminal records. West Virginia subsequently decided to discontinue holding ICE detainees in state jails.
