Conservative firebrand who went viral with anti-CCP ad survives key primary

Marsha Blackburn won the Tennessee Republican primary for governor, defeating John Rose and Monty Fritts. The primary took place on March 3, 2026. Blackburn received 52 percent of the vote, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State. She will advance to the general election in November 2026.
