Zohran Mamdani left the stage at an NYPD National Night Out event on Staten Island after the crowd booed him, according to video of the incident. The event is an annual police community engagement program. Mamdani is a New York State Assembly member representing parts of Brooklyn. Video shows the crowd began chanting during his appearance, and he departed the stage within approximately one minute.
