Preakness Stakes moves to a Sunday for the first time ever in major Triple Crown shakeup

The Preakness Stakes will be held on a Sunday in 2027, scheduled three weeks after the Kentucky Derby. This is the first time a Triple Crown race has been run on a Sunday.
