Senate Panel Votes 8-5 to Hold Anthony Fauci in Contempt of Congress

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted 8-5 on Thursday to hold Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in contempt of Congress. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times during his testimony before the committee the previous week.
