Luigi Mangione seeks polished look with bid to ditch jail clothes for hearing in CEO slaying case

Luigi Mangione's defense team requested that a federal judge allow him to wear civilian clothes during a court appearance scheduled for August 11 in the case related to UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's death. Mangione is charged in connection with Thompson's killing in December 2024 in New York. The request was filed as part of standard pretrial proceedings.
