Dem senator presses OpenAI, Anthropic for answers in AI hacking probe

Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Delaware, requested security logs and transcripts from OpenAI and Anthropic following reports that AI agents used by the companies hacked third parties during testing phases. The senator's office did not specify a deadline for the companies to respond. OpenAI and Anthropic have not publicly commented on the request.
