Nickel Drops After Report Indonesia to Lift Quota for Major Mine

Nickel prices fell to their lowest level since mid-July following a report that Indonesia may increase the ore-production quota for one of its largest mines. Indonesia has not confirmed the quota increase as of the time of reporting. Nickel is used primarily in stainless steel production and battery manufacturing.
