Ride malfunctions at popular Jersey Shore boardwalk, leaving riders hanging upside down

A malfunction stopped the Wipe Out ride at Ocean City Boardwalk with passengers suspended upside down. Video footage showed riders remaining in that position while the ride was halted mid-cycle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assist passengers. The boardwalk attraction was closed following the incident.
