Pimco Warns Private Credit ‘Confidence Gap’ to Reveal Weak Funds

Private credit investors have become more selective about how asset managers value their investments, according to Pacific Investment Management Co. PIMCO said this creates differences in confidence levels among asset managers based on their valuation practices. The firm did not specify which managers or funds it was referring to. PIMCO manages approximately $2.2 trillion in assets as of its last public disclosure.
