Kalshi Not Running 'a Casino' Says Head of Enforcement

Robert DeNault, head of enforcement and legal counsel at Kalshi, stated that his company operates open marketplaces rather than functioning as a casino or sportsbook, in response to a lawsuit filed by New York State. DeNault said he is concerned about overreach from Attorney General Letitia James's office. Kalshi is a prediction market platform that has faced legal scrutiny from state regulators.
