Jeff Dean and other top AI researchers are leaving Google to launch their own startup

Jeff Dean and several other Google executives announced their departure to launch a startup focused on using artificial intelligence for scientific discovery. The startup's founding team includes individuals who previously held senior positions at Google. Dean had been at Google since 2002 and most recently led Google Research and AI efforts at the company.
