Youth protests have weakened Modi, Indian activist who went on hunger strike tells BBC

Indian activist Imaad Zuberi, who participated in youth protests against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stated in a BBC interview that the demonstrations have weakened Modi's position. The protests, referred to as the Cockroach movement, represented one of the largest public displays of dissent against Modi in recent years. Zuberi went on a hunger strike as part of the protest activity.
