Meta Ran Ads That Contained AI-Generated Child Sexual Abuse Imagery

Meta's ad library contained more than 50 image and video advertisements featuring AI-generated child sexual abuse material that were published on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Threads, according to Meta's own records. Some of the ads ran as recently as the current week.
