US Diesel Exports Surge to Record as World Grasps for Supply

The US exported 3.2 million barrels of distillate fuel last week, the highest weekly volume on record, according to the Energy Information Administration. Domestic distillate inventories fell for the seventh consecutive week. Global demand for diesel has outpaced production in several major economies, increasing purchases from US refineries.
