Almost 100% of the Nasdaq-100’s gains in the first half of 2026 came from just 10 stocks

Micron Technology contributed 26% of the Nasdaq-100's first-half returns and 17% of the S&P 500's gains, according to analysis by Jefferies. The remaining nine stocks in the top-10 contributors accounted for the bulk of the index's remaining gains during the period. The Nasdaq-100 includes 100 of the largest non-financial stocks on the Nasdaq exchange.
