DSA-backed candidate topples millionaire Dem incumbent

Donavan McKinney won the Democratic primary in Michigan's 13th congressional district, defeating incumbent Rep. Shri Thanedar. McKinney received endorsement from the Democratic Socialists of America. The primary was held on the date specified in official election records for Michigan's 13th district.
