AllianzGI to Buy UOB Asset Management to Grow in Southeast Asia

Allianz Global Investors announced an agreement to acquire the asset management division of United Overseas Bank Ltd., a Singapore-based financial institution. The transaction is intended to expand Allianz Global Investors' operations in Southeast Asia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
